Each individually themed cabin is equipped with comfortable beds,
private baths, well equipped kitchenettes, and delicious full

Tonkawaya Ranch lies among the hills just outside of Fredericksburg,
Texas. Each of our six cabins or vintage cottages are nestled in the
hillside once populated by the Tonkawa, whose Native American name
means “the people who stay together”. Later, the Apache and Comanche
lived on this land and hunted deer and buffalo in the valley below
us.
Today our guests enjoy the same scenic views from their private
porches, the refreshing southern breezes, and the deer, wildlife,
and longhorn cattle that roam the entire ranch. Our early rising
guests can observe the turkey as they wander down the hillside and
across the fields. And always, our dog "Little Bit" will greet you
with a joyful energy and keep you company around the evening
campfires.
 Enjoy the colorful sunrises from your cabin’s porch, spend the
evening in front of a comforting bonfire in our outdoor commons
area, or gaze at the Milky Way on our incredible starry nights. Our
guest Corral area provides you with picnic tables, a grill, a huge
fire-pit, washers and horseshoes. Our paved road access and parking
is helpful for motorcycles and cyclists, and the road to the front
gate is approximately 1/2 mile for our guests who enjoy walking.
Whether you choose to sit on your private porch and read a book, barbeque or play horse shoes in the guest corral, or take a dip in the “Cowboy Hot Tub” (the old-fashioned kind!! no jets - a metal rancher’s tub filled with fresh water warmed by the sun, and a sure Photo Moment!), relax in a hammock provided just for you, or enjoy a roaring bonfire in the evening, Tonkawaya Ranch Bed and Breakfast Cabins are a unique get-away from the fast pace and crowds. We even provide our guests with our private labeled "S'Mores"! When was the last time you roasted a marshmallow around the fire?
We’re just a short 7 minute drive from Main Street shops and restaurants, and close to the Wineries, Luckenbach, Wildseed Farms and all of the attractions of Fredericksburg, Texas. Spend your days exploring all the area has to offer, and come home to the comfort and serenity of Tonkawaya Ranch.
